    I LOVE the quilt! The colors are striking and look great together. I know you would miss the effect of the pieced stripes in the centers of these blocks. But otherwise, why not use a solid square alternating with 9-patches? I think I have some fat-quarters I've been saving for a baby quilt size that would work well with this pattern, but I'm not sure I want to do the detailed piecing. Just curious how tiny are those small squares?

    Can you tell me what pattern this is. I am in the process of cutting 2 1/2 inch squares to reduce my scraps and would love to use your pattern for linus quilts .

    All the strips are 2.5 inches wide and the pattern tells you exactly how many strips and lengths to cut. After a bit, you just know how many to cut from each fat quarter. If you pm me, I can be more specific.
