Default Roxanne's Trip Around The World in Corduroy

    Hey Y'all,
I just finished this quilt for my great-niece Roxanne. Her mom/my niece asked me to make it for her graduation - it's almost completely made from clothing that was Roxanne's from toddlerhood to now. ALL corduroy. The backing is a navy blue flannel - really soft & cozy. (Ignore the dabbled sunshine weirdness in the picture of the back. The camera wouldn't pick up the rich blue color of the back either. Really weird.)
I kept the quilting simple - all straight lines via Free Motion Quilt. And yes - My arms and shoulders are TIRED!
I started working on it January. Her graduation is in 2 weeks - so I'm overjoyed to finished it in time. Especially since I had to stop and have 2 cataract surgeries in mid-March. Now to get it boxed up and in the mail to them.
FYI - its REALLY heavy, but they wanted it heavy/warm because Roxanne is always cold....despite living in Florida! hahaha!

    EnjoY!

Corduroy? Wow, you should get an award for that!
It's beautiful and such a nice gift for a special girl in your life.
