I too am a converted folder. I could not believe how much fabric I had, once I took it out of drawers etc, ruler folded it an put it in a book case. But it took up so much less room and is much easier to access, as well as letting me see a thumbprint of the colour/print at a glance.
To protect the fabric from dust and sunlight, I made a cover for the book case out of a plastic table cloth. My book case is about 3 feet wide by 5 feet tall. The fuzzy back side of the table cloth is a great design/audition wall.

SPAGHETTI8888..All I can say is "WOW". Your fabrics look fantastic. I really need to get busy and get my fabrics ruler folded because I have no idea what all I have. I wish I had room to put book shelves in my sewing/spare room but I don't so will have to get smaller tubs to put in it. Thanks everyone for inspiring me to get started.
