Default Running Horses and Flying Geese

Here is my latest project completed. The friend I made this for said she wanted horses and green, so I took it from there.
It's the first time I have done flying geese. I used the Underground Railroad book by Eleanor Burns for the instructions on making flying geese. She makes it pretty easy. I've had her rulers to make them for a while but I had to work up my courage.

I can ONLY do flying geese with the Quilt in a Day ruler. Every other way gives me geese with a wonky wing.
