I volunteer with the Houston Police Department and, from knowing many of the officers there, I am sure the quilt and the love you put into it will mean so much, not only to Ryleigh but to all the officers!

Good grief!...should be "there" not their.
That one got by me, I really know better than this!!
JanieH. I find it incredibly sad that Ryleigh will not grow up with a mom and probably too young to even have memories of her.

What a senseless tragedy, driving and alcohol do not mix. My heart goes out to those families to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for us. I really like the quilt and I'm sure it will be cherished.

March 26th two Des Moines Police officers were killed by a very intoxicated wrong way driver. The crash was horrific, the wrong way driver was going 102 mph, the police vehicle 79 mph. The crash was head on, their were no survivors, including the prisoner who was being transported.
This is the quilt that was my WIP when this tragedy occurred, it is now in the possession of the DMPD, soon to be delivered to the toddler daughter of Officer Susan Farrell.
