Oh my my what a beautiful quilt. I love every aspect of it and I know the joy of hand quilting because I also love to hand quilt. This was truly a labor of love but well worth the 4 years of hand quilting it. I absolutely love this pattern and I have been collecting the 1930's prints and now I know what I want to do with them. Thanks for sharing your fabulous labor of love with us.
Do you mind if I try to duplicate the pattern you have chosen or is there a pattern out there in the quilting land?????

Thanks, Pat. There is no pattern to it at all. It is just a Bird in the Air block that finished at 3 inches and the applique flowers are actually cookie cutters that I drew around and the yellow centers are quarters (25 cent) coins that I drew around them. I made it like they would in the 1930's using what I had around the house as templates. Thanks for the compliment and yes, by all means go ahead and copy the design. Please post pictures when you are finished. I would love to see them. Mary
