I do not care at all for strips or plaids and this quilt looks wonderful to me. So thats saying alot, keep going wonderful quilt so far!!!

Yours is not too loud or too anything. It's great. Your choice of colors is great. Don't change anything, and keep on it. You'll love it once it's done. I love it now.

It looks very nice to me. I would love to have your quilt in my tv room & cuddle under it. Good job, I would not change anything. I suggest you keep it up & your son will love it.
