I really like it. I don't understand why you don't like it. I don't feel it is too busy at all...after all it is a scrappy quilt!

I agree with everyone else. Please don't rip it out, keep going, before you know it it will be done. Please post a picture when you are done. I want to make a quilt like yours. I am the only lady in a house with 4 guys. I know my middle son would like it. Good luck and keep up the great work.

I think it is great and your son will really like it. It is not too busy...guaranteed. Your idea of denim to border the squares is really perfect for a guy. Keep going!

I don't think it looks too busy or loud, and in fact I think it looks like a perfect "manly" quilt. Keep on with it and I think you'll be pleased with the final result. And I'm willing to bet one of my quilts that your DS will be!!

I love it! I have been trying to figure out a good colour and pattern for quilts I would like to make for my 2 sons and could never quite find one/design one I actually like(it suddenly turns the corner and becomes more girly:lol: ) but I love this one that you are making. It is a gorgeous looking quilt; definitely not busy and the colours....ummmm....Belissimo! Love the blue denim sashing! Never would have thought to use denim! Would you mind if I use your idea?
