    Default Sailboats Baby Quilt

Recently, I have been inspired by sailboats, I have no idea where that came from. I pinned many examples and loved looking at all of them. I have a Janome embroidery machine and purchased an applique design. I chose some fun fabrics I was lucky to score at a thrift store, everything cost very little money, which is always a good thing. I did some FMQ and quilting with a walking foot.

That is SO cute!! Great find on the fabrics and those sailboats are perfect! Love your straight line quilting, simple and fits perfectly. Love the touch of the banners on the boats....makes them just right!

I love how you did the quilting! I have sworn off "on point" quilt patterns because I really don't like all that open space (and not sure what to do with it). Your quilt is really charming :-) nice job.
