I've played with 12"blocks, but that mostly creates positive/negatives of the same shape. It's really noticable on these 2 tablerunners, you wouldn't pick them as being made from the same pattern. I also see where I should have made the 'snake' turn in another direction in order to be more symmetrical. I don't think I wanted that to happen at the time. I'm also pleased that I was able to keep the zig-zag edge that makes them different.
