WOW, I love the different frogs, they are adorable, I think a little one would love picking out the different frogs - heck I would. Great quilt.

I very seldom buy dedicated products like the paper. I find them all over priced. As most of the frogs were different or individuals, I printed them out on computer paper in different sizes and sewed right over them. I never have a problem getting out the little paper bits with tweezers.
    Thanks for the Kudos.

Too clever. I especially like the underbelly one on the lilypad ... almost like looking from under the water.

Yes I really liked that one too. Very whimsical and definitely gave you a "fishes eye view" LOL.

MaryKatherine, thank you so much for elaborating how you did it. I had read absolute horror stories about trying to pick out regular paper and had a not so pleasant experience myself but I think I did a bit too much detail and had the added nightmare of my drawn marks transferring to the thread and discoloring the white thread. I ended up ripping out the stitching and redoing, muttering colorful expletives the whole way and swearing off quilting through paper forever. I may just give it another try.

The quilt is lovely--but your frogs are stars of the project!
