Looks like fun but I got too much on my plate as it is. I didn't know your leafy Hoffman came in that blue. I have it in my stash in shades of darker mauve. Good Luck in getting the blocks finished.

Love your blocks and your fabrics. Great color combinations! I am also making the blocks. After making some of the intricate 3" blocks, everything else seems easy. I breathe a sigh of relief when the daily block is not too difficult. So far, I am up to date. It is good to know that others are making the 365 blocks.

Nice blocks - what a challenge this one will be - you have a great start - I especially love your heart and your little sailboats

Great looking blocks. That is a real commitment for sure-sometimes life just gets in the way to undertake such a project.

Does anyone know why threads referencing the 365 block challenge seem to be routinely removed from Quilting Board? There was a recent thread on the main board -- I picked up useful information and was pleased to see other members who were taking part in the project. And now the thread is gone and links to it are "invalid". Surely this is a legitimate topic for a quilting forum? The overly stringent application of arcane "rules" is a strongly detrimental element on this forum, and in this particular case, seems to be completley misguided by the impression that there is some personal gain to be had from the host or participants. The challenge is free. The participants are not making money or gaining personal glory. It's just a fun activity that falls squarely (hah-- pun) in the realm of quilting.

Oksewglad, your link was broken, but I would have liked to see what others were posting about this project. It's fun to get ideas when you see what colors and fabrics other people are using. Thanks, yonnikka!

RST, Maybe it's a thread that belongs in the Challenge Topic? That's where the Bonnie Hunter Allietare project is located, or maybe the Blocks of the Month or Week Topic, where the Dear Jane and Farmer's Wife projects are discussed.
