Thank you everyone for your kind comments!! I think I chose bright colors because I was dreading the decline in my health. I must add, it took almost 10 years of aching off and on, but the hip replacements are amazing.

I am so glad to hear you are doing so much better. Wow, that is wonderful. You might check out different options in a quilt design book. The library has some in my area. The thing of it is, the libraries are linked these days and you can order a book sent to any state to borrow it. But, maybe your library has a nice one with designs you like. Do you have a plan? If you look at the whole quilt, it sometimes tells you what you need in different areas. Then it is a matter or marking it and moving on to the next area.
Sometimes the inspiration can be gleaned from what other people did with your pattern. Have you googled your quilt to see if any of them were quilted and finished? Well, I suppose you will find a solution and move forward. You did with your hip and you will with this too.
    Stay well and be happy.

All my favorite colors. I love it. A very nice selection of blocks for a sampler.

Beautiful sampler. Not your typical sampler and that is what is so nice about it. That and the crisp white background and bright blocks. Well done!
