I have the book with the cat quilt too! I have made a couple of her quilts. I didn't attempt the whole quilt like you did but I have made a couple of the kitties and put them in a sampler. Those intertwined tails were a bit challenging weren't they? (at least I found them so, think I did quite a bit of "unsewing" the day I made those for the first time!)

Yeah, can't you tell I hate Halloween 8-) I don't remember the tails being a challenge, but I made the top so long ago! I've been best friends with my seam ripper the last few days so I know how you feel.
