    I was in an antique store and found this candy dish. It's not an antique, but I thought it as really cute and brought it home. Whoever painted this painted little designs in each square and there is a large green patch on the top of the quilt. Just wanted to share.

    My mother made 2 of these in the 50's. Brings back fond memories. My 2 brothers have them. They are a special Christmas memory for her 3 kids.:)

    I remember these! Back many years ago when the ladies were really big into ceramics. All my aunts had them. Someone sure took their time on this fellow. He is so cute.
