    Default Sarah's quilt

A couple of weeks ago I posted a quilt that I made for Harley in the wrong section.

Harley's dad died sevral years ago from cancer and he and his younger sister - Sarah - are living in a foster home since their mother is unable to have custody of the children. My oldest niece went down to Alabama to visit them and i deciced to make each of the kids a quilt. I was able to get Harley's quilt done in time for my niece to visit them, but just recently finished the quilt for Sarah.

My niece told me that Harley just loved his quilt and said that his aunt (I'm not his real aunt, in fact I have only met him once) from China (I worked in China for 10 yrs.) made a quilt for him. I hope you like the quilts as much as Harley did and I'm sure that Sarah will.

The first one is Harley's quilt, and the second one is Sarah's quilt.

Yes, we do, indeed. That is so sweet of you to take such an interest in them. Kids do better when they know that someone cares.

Wonderful job. I am sure it means a lot to Harley and Sarah that you took time to make them each a quilt.
