edit: I really like [b[schockedquilters[/b] idea of grouping four blocks together and narrow sash around them!

i know this is bad. i haven't read all 14 pages -gave up after the first several. edit - i hope no one else said this already. :oops:
i think it'll be a lot easier to use a sashing. matching all those points will be a giant pain in the butt. i, personally, like the sashing to match the background, so the design appears to float.
you can float them any distance apart you like. imo, sashings detract from a design and take it over regardless of the color.
those are beautiful blocks. i would certainly highlight them with no sashing.
