pink for a girl. Making 2 from one would be cool, but I only see 6 blocks, if that all you have I wouldn't split them up into two.

I actually have 4 blocks of each color making a total of 24 blocks. I just showed all six colors.

Forgot to post. Don't know why I did it but the blocks only measure 11" square. I think I did it because my background material measured 44" wide and I could get 4 blocks out of each width.

I vote for the pink sashing, just looks so soft to me.

Definitely pink -- if you decide to put solid blocks in between the Sues, I'd do a second one with either a darker pink, lighter green or purple sashing to match the colors in the blocks (what are their favorite colors?). You could hand quilt a large flower design in the center of the plain blocks and have two quilts then. Beautiful blocks - you did a wonderful job!

What about using the girls' favorite colors for the inbetween blocks and sashing?

Hi twinkie. I think the decision of two quilts with the girl's favorite colors is a good one. Your blocks are very pretty. Please post the finished projects.
