Default Saw this in a quilt shop

As I was thumbing through an old magazine, I saw a quilt draped on a display rack in the magazine's featured quilt shop. I made my 1/2 square triangles to finish at 6" and thought the strips were cut at 2-1/2", which I used. But when it was put together, I realized the strips should have been cut at 2". I think this sashing looks wider than it should be. The sample in the shop used bright yellow and brown and I just followed along, like a sheep! But I love the way this looks and will definitely try it again. Thanks, for looking and have a great day.

Really cute, kind of like looking in windows! Another way to do I spy, could make the HST's or leave them as whole squares, love it!

Another gorgeous scrappy. It is nice to be able to work out a pattern and come home and duplicate it. Well done.

I like it. I would never have thought the sashing should have been smaller, except for you telling me. I really like that idea for using up some pretty scrap fabrics.
