I work with physisits, I went around to everyone and asked "who's your favorite scientist? Who are the important historical people? and what are some good basic ideas?"

Then I had to spend the rest of the time figuring out which scientist would make a good block and which ideas I could illustrate. Towards the middle I was ready to hang it all up and make a nice 9 patch.

I was teasing my co-worker when I gave it to him that not everyone can read their baby blanket to the kid. They have it haning on the kid's wall.

When I gave it to him, I asked if I could have it back for the county fair and agreed as long as he got a ribbon too if it won. Since it got 3rd place, I sweet talked them into giving me an extra ribbon-so we'd both have one. He was quite excited to know that his baby quilt won a prize.
