Thanks for the kind words. DH is so great when it comes to my quilting. I would love him to try quilting. He has a great eye for color (though he favors bright colors, while I tend to be drawn to the darker jewel colors, especially batiks.

I think this machine will be just the ticket for classes. He just went with me to Joanns and got me a rolling case for it (used my 40% off coupon), son now I am ready for my next class. Going to be taking one in Rochester area in 2 weeks, so Eva will get a good trial. I am going to go try her out now.

How does it sew? I was intrigued by the email Bernina sent to me.

I think that it stitches very nicely. Seems a little louder than my 730, but then the 730 is recessed into my cabinet. I am very pleased with Eva so far and think she will be ideal to take to classes and on the road.

I love hearing good things, like what your husband did for you. I purchased a new sewing machine on Wednesday of last week and I haven't been out of "sewing world" for several days. I appreciate the fact that my husband is ok with my addiction.

So fun to get a new machine isn't it? Sounds like you are having a good time with your new toy. I am having fun putting Eva through her paces. She is playing very nicely!

Enjoy your machine, and don't forget pics of what you have created with it. :)
