    I started doing this with adding machine tape, but I like your idea much better, time to switch and get rid of all that adding machine tape I grabbed at goodwill------anyone interested?

    I am attaching the backing to the QAYG front of placemat by straight stitching down the middle of the black sashing. The foot fits perfectly for easy stitching.[ATTACH=CONFIG]569773[/ATTACH]

    It's looking so good. Gosh your work is so neat & clean. Mine always has strings & fuzz & such all over it before it's ever finished.

    2 done. The black binding is a little hard to see to hand stitch to the back with black thread but it really was the best colour to use.[ATTACH=CONFIG]569830[/ATTACH]

    Those turned out fantastic! Such a good way to use up leftover scraps & batting. Thanks for showing us your start to finish project.
