    The pincushion pattern came with a vacuum cleaner belt that you insert at the top to keep the bag part open. At least it sure looks like a vacuum cleaner belt. It looks like an older pattern; that's probably why it was on sale. I don't have the pattern anymore to say who did it; I've passed it on to someone else. Sorry I can't be more help!

    I have been looking for that pattern as well. I bought the pincushion/scrap bag over 15 years ago at a show. I have tried to figure it out, but would still love to have the pattern. My best friend is always complaining about the little threads and scraps. I want to make one for her. So she will have it right at her finger tips. I love mine. I could not download it either.

    I used a plastic milk carton strip to keep the scrap bag open...it worked fine, just thread it thru the top

    I have one of those scrap catchers. The weighted part is filled with sand, but lizzard litter available at the pet store words well. :lol:
    They are very nice and useful! :lol:
