Scrap cutting
I have been cutting down scraps off and on for two weeks and no sewing. Pictured is one of my trash bags as I cut down the scraps from the last three years. I have stripped, squared, rectangled and tumblered - the last two terms are made up quilter words. Will post more pics of my cut-downs when finished with the last two boxes.

It's so difficult to resist starting to sew some of those scraps after (or as) they are being cut. I've been using DIL's AccuQuilt cutter for the last two weeks. Strips, squares, and triangles of all different sizes! It will be nice when they are all cut up, won't it?

hahahaha... I love your "made up quilter words". Good luck with your "scrapies". I love making scrapes but I don't like organising my scraps. I always have good intentions of sorting my scraps as I go, but it never seems to last long.

I keep a wash basin from a trip to a hospital on my cutting table for scraps. When it overflows I spend an hour or so cutting them into usable pieces and store them in plastic bins with lids. Much easier...
