    I think scrap quilts are kind of like oil paintings.....you have to stand back and view the total painting to receive the full impact of its beauty. Think that's why I have so much trouble just grabbing the next piece of fabric when working with scraps because I don't think it will look right. Glad you stuck with it; your quilt is absolute perfection.

    Wonderful quilt!!!

    You did a great job resizing the pattern, but for future reference, it's possible to cut 2" finished triangles from 2.5" strips. No Waste! Use the inexpensive EZ angle ruler, which basically cuts the pieces with one dog ear removed.
    Bonnie Hunter uses this ruler all the time. Here's a good video:
