    Default Scrap Dance Waltz

Now I am NOT a scrap quilter. But I had a jelly roll that I didn't know what to do with. So I found this pattern and thought it would work (from MyCarolinaHome.com). The pattern called for 3 inch squares to make the half-square triangles, and obviously a jelly roll only has 2-1/2 inch strips. So I had to cut the pattern down which made some very small blocks. I hated this quilt until it was layered and quilted and now I actually really like it.

I think you made a beautiful quilt. But I can imagine how tedious it was making all those small half square triangle blocks. I hate to make patterns with too many of them.

A great idea, making the squares smaller. Except smaller can be tedious. Nice fabric.

I love it! Sometimes I can't see all fabrics working in a jelly roll; but this is a winner.
