lovely quilt! I would call that controlled scrappy--which I have settled on as my favorite type of scrap quilt. The dark blue settles the whole thing down. I have made a few with no control fabric--and they can be a mish-mosh!

Very nice job! The blue reigns it in and frames your top well! Nice pinwheels and so many squares to butt seams! Oh my goodness!

Very pretty! I love to take 2 different blocks and put them together as you have done with a pinwheel and a 16 patch, so this pattern really caught my attention. Well done.
