Is there some sort of secret to knowing how to put your scraps together so that they will look good together in a log cabin quilt??

Thank you to loisf and Wildyard for the info. You both have given me some encouragement to give it a try. I have always been afraid to try it because I didn't want to waste the time or my scraps only to end up with something that looks like a mess and then the quilt never comes out of the closet. ha I'm going to give it a try now. If it doesn't take me too long, I will try to post picture if I can complete one......"come on Sandrea get to work. ha"

Your quilt is beautiful! I started cutting my scrapes a little over a year ago after reading "Scrap Therapy, Cutting the Scraps". I kept looking at my boxes of scraps and wondering if I'd ever use them and so seeing what you have accomplished helped so much.
Unfortunately I let the basket get to full while I was working on Christmas quilts so I've spent the last three days cutting scraps instead of working on my January UFO project! I guess if I decide not to use them I will find someone who wants pretty little pre-cut scraps.
