I decided to finish the border with the leftover squares that I already had put together. I will put a black binding on it. It is going to my niece who has 3 kids, so I don't want to put to much into it.

Wow, that is beautiful. I love the squares you put between. Are they pinwheels?

So it is the white that is consistant in the pinwheels that makes it look so good? I have some scraps I want to get rid of - but can't seem to find anything I like enough. I think becuase I want my "scrappy" to be controlled :) Was there anything else that you kept consistant?

So, I'm looking at this lovely quilt that has obviousely got many , many hours of physical and mental work in it then read, "I don't want to put to much in it", are you kidding me?I wish I had the patience I can see you have, so I could make something like this. Love that you are giving it to a good home where you know it will be well loved.

When you do these scrap quilts, you really have to let the control go! Actually all those "white" are various shades of beige or muslin. It seems when you use scraps a red goes right next to an orange and so on. Anything goes!!
