Default Scrap quilt - from my scrap basket

This is a scrap quilt that I dreamt up from my scraps. I ended up with two quilts like this, and didn't seem to make a dent in the scrap basket. The first one I took to my son in September, and apparently he has an "eye" for quilting - he quickly learned to figure out the shapes, how it was constructed, and the math behind designing the blocks. Then we went to a few quilt stores and by the time we left, he was de-constructing items on display.....
I did like how easy this was, and the fact that the only "dedicated" fabric was the black sashing made me happy. I was even able to use some "old and ugly" fabric that was donated to me for the back.
Since it is truly scrappy, I decided it should be called "Dog's Breakfast" - because around my house growing up, anything that was mish/mash or a conglomeration it was "more mixed up than a dog's breakfast"

It looks great. I love scrappy quilts, have yet to figure out, no matter how many scraps I used, it appears I have more scraps when I finish.
