    That's really neat! I would have loved just the scrappy four patches, but the stars really add something. Make another!

    I love how that turned out! Thanks for sharing (and sending me the PM so I would see it.) I need to find the pattern for those stars. Did you get it on-line?

    Linda, if you go to Bonnie Hunter's quiltville.com website, she shows how to make those wonky stars. I happened to have 3 of Gwen Marston's liberated quilting books from the library to see her method.

    they are fun AND easy!

    Thought I'd better post the link cuz I even had a hard time finding it. I forgot that Bonnie calls them "maverick stars" ..

    This is great. I'm always looking for ideas for a 'guy' quilt. So many quilts look feminine to me. But this quilt would be great for a guy of any age, and a girl would love it also.
