    Yes this would be great for a guy, maybe keep out the pinks.

    Or it could be 'patriotic' in red, blue , white and some purples, maybe

    and for a girly girl, use more pinks and pastels. I'm already making some pastel 4 patches to make this for my granddaughter but might do raw edge applique of some large butterflies or dragonflies. It won't get started for awhile, I have others in my 'queue'.
