    I like everything about this quilt. It looks like it could be a history of your fabric collection and the quilting is the icing on the cake.

    Love the quilt - the changing size of squares gives it an interesting bent. Your quilting is simple and very effective- Thanks for sharing.

    I only machine bind now, life is to short... I sew mine to the front and then used a decorative stitch, or a straight stitch. The decorative stitch if you pick one that goes left and right of the ditch will usually always catch it well enough. A straight stitch I find more troublesome, so I fold it over and glue it to the back before stitching to ensure I'm going to catch it and it doesn't sneak out on me, because I always run along the ditch on the front to sew the backside down, if that makes sense.     Baby Aubrey is one month old now and is already playing "I Spy" with her quilt.

    The mother said that this was her favorite baby gift. It's always nice when someone appreciates a quilt.
