Default Scrappy Carpenter Star finally finished

This quilt was months in the making, or shall I say, months in the waiting for me to take it apart and then redo it correctly. It is really made from scraps - I bought a stack of squares of the colored fabrics in a flea market, and then found another bunch of squares of the varying neutrals in the same flea market on another trip. The binding fabric was something I found in a remnant bin and the backing was another odd piece I had. Also found just the perfect size of leftover batting in my drawer. So maybe not scraps of one of my quilts, but just random things put together. My pattern called for borders, but didn't have enough good scraps for that. Maybe next time.

Those pieces parts were just waiting for the right person to come along and meld them all together. And that was you!
