    Default Scrappy Charity quilt

The top is finally done! It's been on my design wall for about a month in various stages.

My church Eager Hands group will sandwich, tie, and bind this one. That group also cut the squares so i selected some that I thought would go with the strip blocks I made from scraps. All the material was donated.

It actually doesn't have puckers. I didn't take time to smooth it all out.

I just saw that I have one strip block going the wrong direction. It was the first one I put in too. I guess I will have some ripping and more sewing to do tomorrow.

I like it with the one reversed block! It gives it a special pizazz.

I wouldn't change it either... it is a scrappy quilt and having things "not perfectly aligned" is fine--at least to me. I do like the way you broke up the bigger blocks with the strips going sideways. It's a nice idea and I may steal it from you!

Thanks! I think I will leave the block in the quilt the wrong way. I thought about that last night and know that matching up the seams again will be tough if I take it out. It does give it extra personality.

Justflyingin, I got the idea from someone else too. So many great ideas on this site.
