Default Scrappy comfort quilt for Annette

I have a friend who lost a breast not so long ago and she's recovering slowly. She once told me she would have loved for me to make her a quilt but was always too afraid to ask because I was so busy.... She pictured a bright quilt to give her warmth when she felt down. I had originally started this quilt for a friend in Switzerland but since it's not winter there yet, I decided I would give this lap quilt to my friend Annette. It's made with leftover blocks from a quilt my group had made for our church to be raffled for a fundraiser for Africa. Annette was thrilled with her quilt

How nice of you to give her a quilt for her recovery. It is very bright and cheerful. It is a beautiful reminder of your friendship.

Great gift and your friend will cuddle up in it when she is feeling down.
