    Default Scrappy Comfort Quilt Flimsy

Busy making comfort quilts, and faced with one for a 4 yr. old girl who loves the color yellow, I just couldn't decide on a pattern. I pulled out all my yellow strips, squares, and scraps hoping to be inspired by the fabric. Still not inspired to a pattern I decided to just start making scrappy blocks.
I have had so much fun with this!!! It's a bit of a sampler mixed with a lot of scrappy edgings and a few fussy cut squares, etc. Some I Spy going on here and there too.

Rather than add more strips as borders, I think I am just going to add the binding. At first I was going to do piano key borders with all the little pieces I have left, but I think that would be just too busy on top of all the other busy-ness.
The first photo is how some of the blocks started and the second is the flimsy all sewed together. Still looking at fabrics for the binding.

It looks comfy and it will be cozy for the 4 year old, I'm sure.
