Default Scrappy Court House Steps for twin teenage girls :)

I had a project to make scrappy quilts out of my scraps. It took about 6 weeks to make the quilts and now I am in the process of quilting them. There ended up being about 17 lap size quilts. A co-work commissioned these two for her twin nieces. It is a variation on the court house steps. I took orphan squares(blocks) and started each square with them. Then I added on to each side. No specific colours just oh so random. The recipients were delighted.

They look great. A fine use for some of your scraps.

Happy quilts! The recipients will be finding new blocks to enjoy for a long time to come!

Fun quilts, they must love them, from the smiles I see. And love the idea of starting the centers with little orphan blocks. Makes it look so nice.

I love these kinds of quilts! I can tell the girls love them too

I love scraps, have so very many of them, need to get started on using them but other projects get in the way.
