    Default A scrappy flannel block...

    ...top, just like Grandma used to make. This truly is a scrap quilt with a muslin backing and a poly batting (to keep down the weight).

    The owner lives her in AR. so the winters aren't that extreme.

    We feathered it and put a border on to finish it off, nothing real fancy, but a nice traditional looking piece for someone's home.

    All the scrap quilts I see on this website encourage me to take the plunge and use up some of my scraps!! Beautifully done and love the quilting!!!

    love those feathers. I have not mastered them on my domestic machine. I am jealous, they look so pretty!
