    Default Scrappy Flannel Lap Quilt

I have lots of flannel scraps from previous quilt backings. So I decided to use some of them up. Sometime ago I purchased a flannel piece from Goodwill that was made from 8 inch squares for $.99 because I liked to colors. I took the flannel piece and surrounded it with left over backing pieces to make the top 42"x 48". The binding was leftovers that came from one of my DD's quilts.

The backing is made from 2 1/2" flannel strips using the Jelly Roll Race method.

The FMQ design is a Leah Day design, Heart Paisley, adapted on a larger scale.

Wow! That is beautiful. The colors all match so nicely that it definitely doesn't look scrappy!

You did a very nice job making a scrappy quilt and it's 2-sided. Someone will really enjoy this one.
