    I finally decided to leave it as is and took the suggestion of making the binding a little wider so I cut 3" pieces. I got it quilted today and got the binding hand sewn on back.

    I love scrappy they look like you should be cuddled under them. Yours is beautiful.

    I have been waiting to see how you finished....I think it looks absolutely lovely, the binding frames it beautifully. The floral sashing works really well, a really pretty quilt.

    I can see how you do the D4P but how do you get those small pieces in the middle...?

    dp4 is such a fun block. really like how you've done yours. lots of work, but oh so Pretty! :-)

    ( @joy: do a search here for disappearing four patch. There's an excellent tutorial on it. )
