Don't worry about the length. It will give you a space to tuck under the pillows. It's beautiful.

That is just beautiful. I think 90 is just a little too long for this quilt.

I have a little chart by my computer with quilt sizes. It says 54x90 is twin size. Are you planning to put it on a bed? By the way, this came out just beautifully! I am just SO attracted to this pattern (obviously you are, too!)

Beautiful. I have put wider borders on the sides to make a quilt as wide as I wanted it to be. Quilt police haven't shown up yet.

Oh, yeah, it's beautiful, too.
rb--I looked for it with no luck, then created it on EQ6 (haven't learned my 7 yet!) THEN found it in Marsha McCloskey's Block Party--a great book (I bought last year with a gift card from a student :-D). It's called Woodland Path. My poor book is permanently opened to the page from being folded back--I had to look closely at the pattern for the first 20 blocks before I could do it on my own.

Oh gosh--I saw a quilt made with this pattern at a quilt show and it just grabbed me. I'll attach the photo of the inspiration quilt.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it--except keep it. It doesn't need to go on a bed--just the couch or me and I'm only 5'4" (almost).

I did NOT make this quilt--it's my inspiration!

    Oh, shoot. LOL

Thanks, Karla. After I posted this question last night, I went to Amazon and bought two of Marsha McCloskey's feathered star block books. (Smacking myself in the head now.)

I just love your color sense! I agonize over every single color choice. It's beautiful, Karla. And I'm in awe at how flat all those #%%@))!! triangles are laying! LOL
