All those seams and the quilt is so flat- no ripples in the border!! Amazing work.

I love it. It sings to my Scrappy Soul. I must have a billion "bonus HST" in a couple of bins. They want to be a quilt when they grow up...

quilter1430, A beautiful quilt! Thanks so much for posting. I hope you don't mind but I would love to use your pattern/idea as a way to finally use the 1000 or so HST I got in the Friendship Triangle Exchange back in 2011 (I think!) Recently a dear quilting friend who is ill and unable to quilt gave me her HST from the same exchange and they just keep calling for me to do something. I have looked at all kinds of patterns and ideas and was going to do Arkansas Crossroads or Lady of the Lake, or Irish Chain, but really didn't want to add additional blocks/squares to the plan. Then I saw your quilt, perfection! 9 patches with sashing. I have already set up the mini "sweat shop" in my living room so I can sew up a few blocks whenever I stop for a few minutes. Maybe I can finally use up those 1000 HSTs.
Thank you again for the idea.
