    I love the look of a log cabin. It's such a classic. Where did you buy the trays for the scraps? They look like silverware holders.

    They are silverware trays - from WalMart. Idea came from Judy Martin's log cabin book.

    Now that is the classic log cabin quilt that I fondly remember from when I first noticed quilts as an art form. Your execution of that pattern is sooooooooo perfect.
    Thank you for reminding me what I should get working on. How wide were your strips?

    How did you quilt it? I can't see the design very well..and I know what a great quilter you are..so I am curious!

    Jan T - my strips were 1" finished.

    Charismah - I made this quilt before I bought the longarm. I quilted it in sections on my DSM. As I recall, I did SID in every last one of those seams.
