    Default Scrappy Log Cabin

Hot off the frame! This log cabin measures in at 100" square. All done from my scrap bins. I chose the barn raising setting as I really liked it. This is our winter quilt. Hubby decided we needed an extra heavy one for winter, so went shopping on ebay & got me wool Army blankets for the batting! Boy is this heavy! I told him when it needs washing he's taking it to the laundry mat!

Great scrappy Log Cabin! I bet you were glad you had a long arm to quilt that heavy quilt!

It's a beauty. Log cabin is on my to-do list and scrappy is probably what it will be. Thank you for sharing. Sounds like it will be warm and toasty.

From one "Cindy" to another....THAT'S GORGEOUS! It's an old pattern that certainly looks fresh. I love it!

I would just build a frame for it, take it outside and hose it down when it came time to wash it. Hopefully, that won't be for a couple/few years at least. It is gorgeous!

omg this is just stunning. Love the colors. I absolutely love it. Any rhymn or reason behind putting the colored strips together or just picked at random?
