    I like the use of a constant color when doing this type of scrappy. I think it gives a scrap quilt a cohesive look. I love all of your bright colors. Good job, not only in piecing it, but it is finished.

    I actually love the red diagonal print. It makes the quilt look like an antique.

    From the pix on my computer, the red stands out. Maybe not as much as you imagined it would (I have had those experiences, too), but it definitely makes the pattern have continuity.
