    Default Scrappy Postage Stamp Quilt

Earlier this summer I completed this 96" x 96"quilt for myself. I posted it on /r/quilting at that time, so apologies if you have seen it already. I haven't made many quilts and most of what I have made were for other people, so I was excited to have one for my bed.

I originally planned to make the entire thing postage stamps with some white sashing. I strip pieced the stamps and cut everything down. When got to the layout stage, what felt like a million squares was anything but. I had to get creative or make more stamps. I took the easy route and got creative Thanks for looking.

Beautiful... just like little picture frames for some lovely quilted designs. I love all those tiny pieces.

I like the white space - your quilt looks great.

Thanks sewbizgirl. I am not very skilled when it comes to the quilting part. I just used a serpentine stitch from top to bottom. I plan to hone my FMQ skills in the coming months and I hope to get decent at it.

    Thank you Manalto and Eva

Love it. Haven't seen a postage stamp done this way and this is a fresh idea.
