when this quilt was first posted (as a top) we all discussed the pattern- but since some missed the original---
it is called Prairie Skies- from the Sept/Oct 2004 Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting magazine.
someone said the pattern is available as a download on the Fons & Porter website.

It certainly does measure up, looking at it without reading your comment I would not have guessed the quilting around the border were angles, but I totally see it now. Nice.
