I saw this pattern this morning posted by fromthenestdesigns.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-44258-1.htm
I book marked it right away and then went to my basket...where I put all of my extra (scraps) of 2.5 inch strips when I finish a project and I pulled out all of the brights and novelty type strips I had in the basket and started this quilt..it went very quickly and smoothly...good directions and I started the quilt in the morning...went to work.....for 3 hours then came home and finished it within an hour or so of being home....very quick and easy.....Thank YOU!

Great job on your quilt. I like the colour combo very much.
I used this idea today too to make "quilt fabric" that I am going to used to make a quilted sweatshirt jacket for my MIL for mothers' day. If everything turns out okay I will post a pic (lol)

Turned out great, OK, now I am going to have to start doing something with those scraps, I must admit I toss lots, but tiny, tiny pieces. Not much left for scraps when this frugal sewer gets done.
