I think the colors and blocks are prefect for a guy. I also like how you put so much thought and love into it. Now tell me something. I have read how people put photos on fabric but tell me how You did it. What fabric used, what kind of printer, etc? Your pictures are so good.

What a great idea to custom print panels for the back. I hope your dad enjoys using it.

I uploaded the pictures to Spoonflower.com. They printed them on their petal signature cotton fat quarters. They happened to be having a 50% sale on fat quarters when I ordered

I am happy with how they turned out... its not cheap but since I got the 50% off I feel better about it

thanks everyone for your kind words

Absolutely beautiful and what a treasure for your Dad-especially the pictures of his home town. You did a wonderful job on it. I don't see any errors at all-be kind to yourself and enjoy the process of quilting. Your workmanship is gorgeous

It reminds me of something someone of your father's age would fall in love with. Imperfections are kisses encased in the quilt. It is especially wonderful as every time he uses it he will feel your love for him. What a wonderful gift. There is no need "to be kind" as this is simply magnificent and could not be better.

This is a delightful quilt. And what a touching thing to do with the photos. I'm sure your dad will be thrilled with it and feel your love.
